Pros

Henry Schein is truly a special organization. It is one where you can actually feel the culture they talk about, and where making employees feel valued is a legitimate priority. People look out for each other and root for each others' success. Benefits are solid and growing, especially nontraditional benefits like wellness initiatives and resources. On top of all that, the company is one with a meaningful purpose and fulfilling work that serves all of our communities.

Cons

For a company of its size, there is a lot of work to do in regards to systems and global, enterprise-wide integrations. This leads to a lot of red tape and miscommunication which can be frustrating and cause simple tasks to take an unnecessarily long time. Building relationships cross-functionally helps with the ability to navigate this more efficiently. With that said, the company has made investments in this area and continues to do so as it is a priority, so I am hopeful that over time this will improve greatly.

Pros

Henry Schein has a genuinely collaborative culture where teamwork and respect are part of daily work life. Leadership is supportive and encourages open communication, professional development, and continuous learning. There are great opportunities to grow your skill set, especially through cross functional work with teams across pricing, product data, sales, and operations. Work–life balance is solid, the company has remote opportunities and is a respected leader in the healthcare industry. I also appreciate the company’s commitment to community outreach and social responsibility—it reinforces that we’re working for a mission-driven organization.

Cons

Like most large organizations, processes can sometimes feel slow due to the number of teams involved. Change management can take time, and cross-department alignment requires patience. However, leadership has been taking steps to improve workflows and increase efficiency.
