Pros
Decent hours, and the benefits are pretty good.
Cons
The politics within this company are intolerable. Advancement opportunities are non-existent. I was offered a second shift supervisor position.....the catch....no job title and no pay increase, just the differential for moving to second shift. Seriously?!?!?!?!?! There are no education or training programs available. The starting pay is very low and annual increases even with a good review are very low usually 1-1.5% increase. Production floor supervisors are unorganized, unprofessional and a few are unqualified for the position, this goes back to the politics. Very little, if any, feedback or updates from the supervisor. Most of the time I found out about upcoming orders etc. from other departments. Constantly having to deal with attitude and rude remarks from my supervisor.
