Pros
Good pay Tim eoff work/life balance
Cons
I was hired as a TEP...a month in my manager told me I am actually a "senior TEP" but I was never informed of this...so he said he expected the most from me. I was the only US employee on my team, so they would schedule onboarding sessions for 5am/6am (I would decline and ask for a time during working hours, instead I was just never trained). My manager promised to promote me the first week he met me, he did not even know me. I visited Berlin (where the rest on my team was) and my manager at the time would ask me to go shopping with him, out for coffee (never as a team, just me) and he make inapproriate remarks about my looks. I let upper management know, he had left the company days prior, upper management said they are sorry and gave me a starbuck giftcard. After 11 months, I was just laid off. My manager who laid me off was not equipped to do so. After laying me off, she proceeds to ask to have a meeting the day after. I ask her if it even necessary because I had no desire to have another video meeting after being laid off. She said its fine, all she wanted was to do was make sure I sent over all sourced candidates (hundreds of candidates that I personally sourced) before leaving. Never met a manager that literally treated me as a number. While I worked with some amazing people, the two direct manager I had during my time there really set me up for failure and I see this almost as a blessing.
