The pay was low for the million hats the company expected you to wear. The training was outdated. The director in Tampa lacks leadership skills and couldn’t handle being wrong, instead he would fire you. He doesn’t know how to perform any of the tasks that his team performs, but yet he is suppose to lead them. He listens to the principals over his team, and doesn’t advocate for any team members unless he favors you. He piles on the workload to the point of burnout. All the admin in Tampa is overworked and underpaid. One admin used to cry because work was so stressful that she had no time for kids, but she needed a job. Another admin was sick, but couldn’t stop working because she had too much on her plate. No career growth, the next step up from admin is a glorified title change with additional tasks added to your regular tasks.
