Pros
Heath Ceramics has a small company feel. There is the opportunity to get to know everyone and take ownership of great project opportunities that will come your way because they will . Work here is busy and there is never a dull moment. The employees are generally wonderful, interesting people. The positions here are suited best for people that require little to no supervision unless working in the factory. Many of the employees have been at Heath for many, many years. Work life balance is good to great.
Cons
This is not the right environment for someone who wants a lot of structure (unless in the factory). There is a tendency to take on new projects, often as opportunities arise without much planning (which is neither good nor bad. It's just not right for the employee that needs to know what they will be doing long term). Because things are so busy it can be a reactive rather than proactive environment. Pay is below average in many cases.
