Pros
- Company is fully remote with good work-life balance. There are some busy times around tax deadlines, but for the most part, the work is challenging and interesting with hours that aren’t crazy. - For a startup, pretty good on benefits - unlimited PTO, competitive health insurance, performance reviews with comp adjustments, wellness benefit (though they did just decrease this to $1,200/year). - The people - my colleagues are some of the best. Super hardworking and smart people. After the layoff, we hired a bunch of people with expertise in accounting and tax… they’ve really upleveled the team and product in the last 6 months - Leadership - first time founders that are trying their best to deliver for therapists and employees, are transparent, and react well to feedback. I've only been here about a year but I've seen them make a lot of changes that are for the better
Cons
- We had a layoff halfway through the year that really impacted morale because we said goodbye to some early employees (probably the reviews below). I do think it’s been overall for the best, but I think some older employees are still feeling the impact of that - Though we’ve made strides, there’s still more that we can do in the product and in support to improve the customer experience
