Pros
The core team that has stayed through the Cornerstone Advisors and DevCool acquisitions is one of the strongest groups of colleagues I have worked with. They know healthcare IT, understand the clinical and technical workflows and applications, and know how to work with clients. They are what has kept the company moving through constant churn.
Cons
The biggest issue is the lack of clear direction from leadership. It is hard to tell where the company is headed and what it is really trying to sell in the U.S. There are large acquisitions being made internationally and those seem to be the focus of the company’s news, but that progress does not reflect the U.S. offerings and services.
Some of the “solutions” listed on the website do not seem fully developed or proven with active client use.
Leadership changes have added to the uncertainty, especially as some longtime employees with deep company and industry knowledge have left.
The company has also hurt its reputation with consultants and some former clients due to past payroll issues and ongoing concerns around financial stability.
The company’s overall health is not hard to see when you look at the NASDAQ delisting notices, reverse stock splits, warrant inducements, and missed revenue targets.
