Pros

Most of your co-workers would give you excellent advice and tips on how to get better.

Cons

They never told you much about your commissions. I never got paid for some of the policies I sold. I always broke even and never made enough money. If you are being paid on commission you have to pay for your gas and any advertising to promote your business. It was costly. There were charge backs when clients dropped the policy and I ended up owing the company.

Tons of resources, easily available feedback from superiors, company offers motivating trips if reach sales goals

Cons

No local office to report to, variable schedule, very busy during open enrollment and must renew licenses yearly
