Pros
Some co-workers are the best people Remote work has many benefits Students are great
Cons
Unprofessional, inappropriate, and unskilled leadership at the highest level. Executive team focus on short term greed for themselves over student success. Enrollments done by any means necessary. Frivolous spending/expensing on clothing, unit rentals, food, luxuries etc. from leadership. Tens of thousands on clothes and hair and make up, but small raises for employees are denied. Aggressive outbursts from executives and a culture of bullying accepted. Threats and intimidation internal and to external vendors rife. Inappropriate staff behavior towards students/staff ignored. Fake messaging and “company culture”. Employees are gaslighted and have a cult mentality. Success Coaches (ex-students) are kept out of the politics and do not know what is behind the curtain in the day to day. Only successful coaches are those who coach other coaches or become employed by the company. Essentially an MLM/pyramid scheme. The “graduated students” use the incoming ones to make money off. If you are going to take this course, ask the hard questions. Know that bankruptcy or death is the only reason you will get out of payment. Speak to ex-students online (not the ones the company get for you or students who became employees). Know that the certificate is not recognised anywhere, you cannot get government assistance and that the course is created by people without any formal training or experience. Ask for the coaching history and success stories of leadership (there is none). Don’t accept non-specific answers. You deserve to have the full picture. Health Coaching is an unregulated field, anyone can print a paper certificate and make it look fancy.
