One of their Operating Principals is that of TRANSPARENCY; that all employees are privy to organizational strategies and information. This is all pretty great - in practice - EXCEPT in the area of position compensation and raises. They communicate openly and frequently about making sure we (employees) are paid “above the median” for our positions - in addition to promising an automatic yearly raise of 5%. In my experience, however, nothing has changed since our company was acquired by Health Catalyst a year and a half ago. Aside from the fact that I was due a yearly increase at the time of the acquisition, my then current position compensation was not reevaluated to the “above median range”, and I have not received an “automatic 5% wage increase”. Additionally, although I have been promoted since I started here, there has not been a discussion of the re-evaluation of my new current job title and compensation to the promised "above median" ranges. I feel like I am going backwards on my pay scale since joining this company.
