Cons

First of all the office space stinks CTO is a nut job and will want a status hourly Super micro managed and everyone reports to CTO CTO hired a buch of newly graduated kids and expects experienced employees to work the same way

I am sad to see this post as it does not reflect our company at all. Generally, employees with a good background and the ability to complete their assigned projects in a professional manner are given a lot of freedom @ headwire to perform their job. Hiring newly graduated students and interns from the local universities is part of an effort to allow them to pair their learned knowledge with actual on the job experience.

Pros

Many aspects I've disliked in previous shops (drama, politics/fingerpointing, gravy training, incessant red tape) simply aren't present at Headwire. It's a talented crowd with a company-wide culture nearly *completely* aligns with my values. I've always been treated fairly and have always felt well-supported by management. To boot, the client projects that I've worked have been incredibly diverse, and bench-time projects have all felt like designing stuff for Batman.

Cons

Enterprise software is understandably difficult and requires patience. Everybody's learning curves have different slopes, though, and I feel like some of the new-hires could have used a bit more onboarding when they started.
