Pros

Sounded amazing and if they had been able to do it as promised I would have stayed until I retired! Remote work, Colleagues, Pay (at first), supervisor, clients

Cons

Restructured compensation to where it wasn't feasible (even with a high number of clients) and someone bought in who wanted to get rid of the therapy department and medication management. Wanted to focus on interventional treatments/clinics only.

Pros

Flexible and accommodating to different circumstances - permitting extended leave for life events and extracurriculars etc. The team contains some inspiring people and connections to the cutting edge of innovation in mental healthcare - if you want to develop a career in wide scale delivery of RAADs or psychedelic therapies, this is the place. I like the energy of change making, and the encouragement and resources allocated to make my ideas manifest. We get unexpected treats often, and the patients are super grateful for what we provide and I feel honoured to do this for my work. The bonus structure allows me to double my income if I produce results, without having to convince a manager of my performance.

Cons

The organization is still evolving, and processes sometimes change or could be better communicated. There have been hiccups inc delay in release of the payroll from the company, though the CEO sent us either small apology gifts or the whole check via different routes, which meant we got 2x the check in one go. This has been cleared up but did cause some confusion for sure. Sometimes things that could be automated aren't. And we use slack for most things.

Pros

pay is great for overtime if you are part-time, but salaried folks in management are not able to get the same benefits of overtime. the care team are amazing and you feel fulfilled getting to make people feel better. there can be room to grow but it’s hard to decide day to day whether it’s worth staying.

Cons

leadership is just the ceo and what they say goes. there’s not anybody to keep them in check, so it feels very authoritarian... the bonuses are never paid, and if they are paid, it’s months later. you feel gross about having to ask repeatedly for money that was owed to you. there can be a tendency for gaslighting and manipulation on behalf of leadership to get more out of you, promising this and that, but again, it never seems to appear in actual compensation. nobody keeps track of the actual bonuses staff earn, and it’s not included in HR’s purview either. there’s no oversight.
