Don’t let these great benefits fool you, though. The group I reported into was highly toxic and micromanaged. I was yelled at, told to just do my job and not ask questions, berated and questioned for everything, priorities constantly changed - oh, this program didn’t work, let’s try that…all the time.
I went to HR and leadership about this situation and NOTHING was done. I was told by the President to tell the person berating me that their behavior was not acceptable and they needed to adjust their approach. We are adults and I honestly should not have had to do that.
The fact that so many people left the company because if one person’s behavior and nothing was done to address it was enough of a message to me to leave the company.
