Pros

Product is presented well and is high quality

Cons

Inflexible, backstabbing, brown nosing, fake, bullies. Just a few words to sum up the people that work here. Level of expectation from senior managers is unrealistic.

Pros

They had a hot tap instead of a kettle.

Cons

My experience working with Hayfield Homes was extremely disappointing. In my opinion, the leadership and senior management structure appears disorganised and ineffective, and this creates significant issues for those working for and with the business. Communication was consistently poor (or non existent), decisions were frequently unclear or changed without explanation (or letting anyone know) and responsibility was rarely taken when problems arose. Instead, issues were often deflected rather than addressed constructively. There also seemed to be a culture where senior staff presented themselves with a great deal of confidence, but this was not matched by clear processes, accountability, effective management or in many cases talent or knowledge. Overall, my experience was that the business lacks the professionalism, organisation and respect that you would expect from a company operating at this level. Based on my experience, I would be very cautious about working with them, they offer a lot of lip service but have nothing to back it up with.

Pros

Office design is really nice

Cons

The sales department is a shambles at director level. I spent night after night, week after week, stressed to the point where I was unable to eat, sleep or even be happy around my family. I was often backed into a corner and tripped up just so others could look “good” it was borderline bullying and not the professional or proactive way of getting the best out of others. Lots of redundancies with minimal information. Hush hush conversations about other colleagues instead of acting like grown ups and speaking directly. Never felt so belittled, let down, unsupported and devalued.
