Pros
The showroom itself is beautifully designed Occasionally, you get free snacks—if upper management doesn’t hoard them first
Cons
Toxic Leadership: Expect micromanagement, constant gaslighting, and upper management that treats showroom staff as disposable. Unrealistic Expectations: You’ll be expected to host events, maintain the space, and meet sales targets—without proper resources or support. High Turnover: The revolving door of employees says it all—people burn out and leave quickly. No Career Growth: If you’re looking for mentorship or upward mobility, look elsewhere. They’d rather hire externally than promote from within. Talk the talk: The organization says they value diversity, sustainability, and innovation, but the diversity committee members actually say that they feel like they have no power, the organization produces so much trash in their weekly events and the products aren't built to last, and a lot of the new products are just trying to catch-up with MillerKnoll/Steelcase products already in the market.
