-The school-based team is positive and encouraging to work with -Working in schools gives the opportunity for a lot of work autonomy, and to build community in the school setting without working for the school system -Work is on a 10-month basis, closely matching the start and end-dates of the school year
Cons
-Work does not follow the school calendar completely - CSB employees don't receive time off for the school fall, winter, or spring breaks or teacher workdays -Pay is limiting, not matching salaries for similar positions employed directly by the school districts -At times it can seem as though the company does not fully value this program - it can feel isolating to be primarily in the schools and not in the CSB offices as regularly
