      good first job for teenagers

      management has extremely high standards for cashiers, i recall being yelled at for standing next to my register and not at the end of it repeatedly throughout my time at harris teeter. probably happened atleast once a shift when i first started as i was not adjusted. manager favoritism is also in full effect.

      Pros

      Decent people, make connections, pay, and hours are just okay.

      Cons

      Management sucks. If you fall victim to bullying, nobody cares/does anything. Working there from 16 to now (barely anymore), it was hard to be happy at all about going in when working with a specific manager who constantly nitpicked and talked behind your back.
