Pros
Everything is streamlined. The company is always on time with payment and is straightforward and fair. With enough advance notice, my managers were pretty willing to work with me on scheduling if I ever had a conflict.
Cons
All of the typical retail downsides, you also get here. You're trained to care about customers, but in practice everything is about speed. Managers had a very "good cop, bad cop" sort of feel. One manager loves you, the other is a drill sergeant. Very limited upward mobility if you don't have a wide-open availability. Any job on the front end is completely thankless despite the good workers being some of the hardest-working in the store. People who don't ask customers to donate to charity are essentially publicly shamed.
