Pros

Most non management employees are good people. Customers for the most part are decent. Pay is better then many in the area.

Cons

Supervisors are a joke and say whatever they think you want to hear but do not support workers in any area. Deals offered by the company are mostly false. The extend service protection plans are only ment to make the company money not protect the customer

Thank you for your hard work and dedication to Harbor Freight, we couldn't do it without you and others like you who work so hard. I would encourage you to speak to your Store Manager or District Manager about the concerns mentioned above, as you know we are committed to continuous improvement and doing the right thing and your store leadership team is as well. I will also share your feedback with the appropriate team members. Thank you for your feedback.

Pros

Great benefits, fast paced environment, good teamwork. I liked the hours, you get an education about tools, whether from your coworkers or the customers. And speaking of the customers, they were on the better side for retail. Most are down to earth and easy to converse with.

Cons

Supply chain issues, many parts would never be replenished, despite being featured, advertised, and on display. That would often lead to tensions with customers. Aggressive time constraints on tasks. Sidewalk sales, holidays, and also coincidentally inclement weather days, can be quite busy and therefore stressful. Especially if there's call outs, but if you have a good management team, you'll have good staff that will want to work for them.
