Pros

Happy Head is leader in telemedicine for prescription hair loss treatments. Our absolute belief is that we put employee happiness first. We do important work, our customers value what we do, but we cannot do any of that well, in the long run anyway, without Happy Employees (we call our team Happy Heads!). We believe in *solid pay*, with a commitment to pay in the top 10% for the role and experience in Los Angeles. Respect for work life balance, regular team surprises and activities and a requirement for respectful, empathetic behavior is critical to us

Cons

we do like seeing you in the office. we don't believe remote work is the best for true collaboration. Most roles can be a mix of in the office and remote, and we are quite flexible on scheduling. To build a strong workplace culture, we do still believe physical presence is key.

Pros

Constantly growing, always trying new things which keeps everything interesting. Regular & detailed internal company updates. Nice employee benefits and hybrid office environment.

Cons

It is not a "mega-corp", so there are not policies, resources, HR, etc. that cover all aspects one my desire... but par for the course for a venture funded high growth tech driven company.

Pros

*Parking Reimbursements quarterly *$100 Wellness Reimbursements to use for gym/massages, etc *Some amazing people work here *Some roles are Hybrid

Cons

*Volatile Leadership: The CEO and leadership team foster a toxic environment that trickles down to employees, creating unnecessary stress and fear. *Excessive Monitoring: Every minute of your workday is tracked, leaving no room for trust or autonomy. *Micromanagement Culture: Management disguises micromanagement and fear-based tactics as "support for improvement." *False Promises: The role was advertised as hybrid with 2 WFH days, but after four months, this promise was disregarded due to ever-changing sales targets. *Unrealistic Expectations: Sales targets are constantly moving, with no clear strategy or justification. Good performance is met with increased workloads, not recognition or rewards. *Lack of Collaboration: Collaboration is virtually non-existent, and management is misaligned, with each manager having conflicting expectations. *Startup Mismanagement: Instead of focusing on customer satisfaction to drive growth, management obsesses over ROI, even at the expense of employee morale. *Threats of Termination: Employees are frequently threatened with termination for failing to meet unclear and ever-changing targets. *Exploitative Practices: There's a strong suspicion that templates and work created by employees will be repurposed and outsourced to cheaper labor in the Philippines. *Focus on Quantity Over Quality: The company prioritizes numbers over relationship-building, measuring employees on metrics like call volume and time spent on the phones rather than meaningful contributions, all while offering a very low salary.
