Pros
A friendly environment with a good work-life balance and not too much pressure
Cons
The company has a very top-down, one-voice culture. On the surface, it may seem like there are options, but they are usually about trivial matters. When it comes to more important decisions, some leaders make choices purely based on their own ideas, even if those ideas are wrong. Some engineers have limited technical ability but hold relatively high positions. As a result, the company’s systems are unstable, issues happen frequently, and projects drag on much longer than expected. However, in reports, it is always presented as if everything is going well and a lot has been accomplished. Communication skills are valued more than technical skills, which creates a strong sense of contradiction. The sunk cost within the company is also very high. Regardless of position, some people always want to appear capable, even when they are not. This often leaves others to clean up the mess afterward.
