Pros

Sometimes the schedules were incredibly light.

Cons

The culture was lazy, and those who were considered good at the job were effectively punished for it, by having to do everything.

Pros

I'm excited to share some insights into why working at this hotel was a pivotal moment in my career. This role significantly enhanced my customer service skills, pushing me to handle diverse guest interactions effectively. I gained valuable experience in teamwork, collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure smooth operations. The fast-paced environment helped me develop strong problem-solving abilities. Furthermore, I learned how to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively. This experience broadened my understanding of the hospitality industry and solidified my passion for this field. I'm grateful for the opportunities and growth I experienced during my time there.

Cons

I've noticed some drawbacks during my time here. The scheduling can be unpredictable, making it difficult to plan personal commitments. There are also limited opportunities for professional development within the company. Additionally, the employee benefits package could be more comprehensive. I've also observed that communication between management and staff could be improved. Furthermore, the workload can be heavy during peak seasons, leading to stress. Lastly, dealing with difficult guests can sometimes be challenging.

Pros

The Hampton culture encouraged by Hilton is wonderful. The hotel has a truly cohesive team that cares about the guest's experience.

Cons

Your true ability to sell the hotel and feel good about what you are selling boils down to what the ownership is willing to do to ensure the guest has a good experience. It always depends if they will truly take care of the property and update and fix things as needed. If they are only will to do the bare minimum- offering a true Hampton stay as Hilton wants you to is not possible.
