Pros

Overlooking the obvious manufactured reviews that litter this page; see that the only pro listed is the people. Empirix was at one time staffed in the lower ranks with dedicated and passionate personnel. Unfortunately, due to the "toxic leadership", as one apt reviewer put it, the morale has been driven to incarceration levels. The once passionate personnel are likely to be in the process of leaving or have left already, this pro will undoubtedly only last as long as the last holdouts can stomach.

Cons

There is no “value add” for the employee here. Leadership embodies the "fire all until productivity entirely ceases then hire one more" motto. Enjoy "just-in-time" employee staffing? Then join Empirix. If you want to work for a software company run entirely by sales this is the place for you. Empirix is "led" by an executive suite full of what one can only describe as "the bros". If the CEO or their cronies do not like you prepare to be ousted. Many productive employees were fired or laid-off with no clear foresight for customer needs due to childlike leadership. If you do find yourself at Empirix and survive without quitting the first year; be sure to mark October on your calendar for the annual blood sacrifice of employees with no apparent logic for who or where the cuts are made. From inside the belly of the beast it would seem the leadership is simply preparing their golden parachute and their buddies at the top for the inevitable crash that this company is on the precipice of.

Pros

I worked for Hammer for many years as a customer-facing product support engineer. During my tenure at Hammer, I was able learn a lot about contact center / IVR / CX assurance testing from experts in the field. Working with many technology and methodology experts in this field enabled me to become an expert in many of Hammer’s products, and along with my own analytic and customer skills, I was able to help many clients resolve their issues, and continue their QA, UAT, and production testing and monitoring. In my experience, they generally recognize talent, hard work, and reliability. The culture is positive and inclusive. The benefits are excellent. I recommend the company as a positive place to work.

Cons

I would have liked to see more proactive mentoring and professional development.
