Pros

I love working for an innovative company that is doing good in the world by bringing consumer-facing neuroscience to the masses. It's been amazing to virtually create a new market by introducing our technology to people who had no idea that they could benefit from it. I'm excited by our product pipeline and future of the business, just having raised a Series B round led by TPG.

Cons

We have a small team with people working hard on multiple tasks. This has slowed down delivering new product quickly, but we are remedying this very quickly and making new hires since raising Series B.

Pros

I can't say enough about Halo Neuroscience — it's an AMAZING company. The product, the people, the opportunity to work here, the industry, what the company is doing for sports training and patients with motor diseases...the list is literally endless. The company's first product, Halo Sport, is a neurostimulator designed for athletic training, and it's for athletes who want to get better results from their hard work (Halo Sport is currently in use by teams and athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB, Olympics, and military). Future products will continue to push the limits of innovation. There's no other company out there that has such a unique technology, applied in such a powerful way: to help people, for both performance and medical applications. Now, of course what you're working on is important — but even more important is the people that you work alongside in the office every day. And I've never met such inspiring people as those who work at Halo. For example, when the company needs something, the employees at Halo build it themselves. Recently, multiple members of the team teamed up to create a bicep curl machine for laboratory testing. The mentality to solve problems with two hands through invention and innovation is completely unique from what I have seen at other companies. Halo stands out. I could not recommend the company more highly.

Cons

I don't think there are any cons about working at Halo. It's everything you could want from a job where you're working on real inventions that have far-reaching applications. People interested in applying to work at Halo should know that the expectations for the company are very high — and rightly so. The company has a unique and compelling value proposition to go after a hyper-growth market. There is a very high bar for work quality.
