Employees have lost benefits even as the company opens more stores. Prices are gouged on some media with express direction from management to take advantage of low-info shoppers - Individual stores can have drama - Stores are getting boring and harder-to-browse and your coworkers may no longer be up to speed on books, media, etc. - Hard to advance - Individual store management varies, but corporate management is definitely profits-before-people
