Cons
Must be very knowledgeable and ask as many questions as possible about their equipment. I unfortunately wasn’t aware of just how stringent they are on their service paperwork and while my foreman was busy did as much as I knew how to do on a truck but wasn’t thought about how to operate the boom yet, I mistakenly went ahead and did all the paperwork thinking when he did show me everything on the boom, and there was a problem, I would be able to go back and change the repair status on it. Unfortunately you can not, and when he did go over it with me, we did find a problem with the boom operations and had to down the truck. Not knowing that you can’t go back in the paperwork, and trying to jump ahead to save time unfortunately lost me my position there.
