Pros

Great people to work with and the job is very laid back with minimal supervision. Low skill level is welcomed cause part of the job is being constantly trained on new electronic tests and performing those tests on a daily basis but you're not required to memorize anything. Instead you're encouraged take notes so you can refer to them later. Once you get the hang of it, it's a specific pattern that never changes and becomes easy within a couple years. You get annual bonuses that increase the longer you stay and the company parties are pretty good as well.

Cons

The job can become repetitive and boring after a few years. New tests come and go but you're not gonna be trained on every last one that comes in. After a while, you'll have specific tests that you run all the time and you might not do anything terribly new or exciting for very long periods of time. After several years, I managed to work my way up from getting 5 days off every 6mo to 7 1/2. The days do stack but you can't use them as you wish cause sometimes the company decides to take extra days off when it comes to the holidays depending on how many people put in for time off. Once that happens, they'll use your paid days to cover those extra days off that you didn't even wanna take. This always results in me losing about 3 days or more unplanned per year. Room for growth is limited. Their are job openings in other areas of the company every now and then but beyond annual raises which is not guaranteed and does have a salary cap, there is no promotion coming for this particular job unless someone quits or gets fired.
