Pros
Awesome work life balance, great specialists who do the actual work, salaries above average, remote work is a natural thing. The Berlin office has an employee Works Council.
Cons
Absolute lack of leadership skills on all managerial levels, complete lack of company direction, non-existent company culture, gossips and politics flourish. Tons of town halls and other official communication, but the really important information stays hidden from the majority - the Leadership displays zero trust towards its employees. Insanely slow career growth, restructuring happens all the time - for the career growth that means one has to prove themselves in front of a new Manager nearly every year because past achievements disappear together with the old Manager. Setting new ways of working also starts from scratch with each restructuring. Great professionals keep leaving the company and nobody from Leadership seems to care - at the same time, there's a constant hire freeze and cost cutting. Zero coordination between different units - people spend more time fighting over scope, priorities, responsibilities, resources, ways of working, etc., than doing the actual work. A typical working day is endless back-to-back meetings/calls, sometimes triple and quadruple booked. The quality of products and services is extremely neglected.
