Pros
They provide lots of "toys", laptop, iPad, iPhone. Home office environment provides flexibility in your day. Customers are generally good to work with and often realize the problem is HDS Management and not the FAR when things go wrong.
Cons
Abysmal compensation. For the amount of time Management expects you to work (evening, weekends, etc) for the low salary and absent bonus system (due to the goals being outrageously inflated) , you'd be better off working an hourly job at say Starbucks. The benefits are expensive and cover very little. Amount of time wasted on "reports", conference calls and so called training are unbelievable. Definitely not a place for a family person as the company culture is to encourage "training" meetings, ride alongs and socialization that frequently is alone time with opposite sex employees and including alcohol and overnights. People who object to the inappropriate "team building" are often made to be outcasts and harassed. Everyone is in CYA mode constantly. Fingerpointing and false accusations among line employees and management is the norm, and the accused employee has to prove their innocence via phone records, emails, etc. even against the most baseless charge. The company is run with the efficiency of the US Postal Service! So many hands in the pot of every day decisions and activities that make clear cut direction and decisions impossible to make. Even the smallest logistical issue will result in days of endless emails with the world of alphabet soup titles cc'd with any resolution. In a nutshell HDS is a horrible company. Look here only if you need a short term paycheck and keep looking!
