Great Company - Manager H E B Employee Review

Worked around my school schedule, fantasic pay, helpful discounts and a wonderful company to work for.

I didn't have the best manager, but it wasn't a terrible workplace and she's since been fired.

Pay and benefits are good. Can transfer to multiple locations. Opportunities to work in different departments.

Experience is highly dependent on local store management. Favoritism runs rampant and any chance for promotion must be approved/initiated by direct supervisor. Additional training must be recommended/approved by direct supervisor. Advancement and promotions are not based on skills. Personality and friendship with upper management matters more than skills.
