Pros
* It is small company located in IIT Madras research Park. * The work can be interesting as you get to learn and do things. You are given the freedom to figure your way to the solution. * They give you a task and give you the space and trust to do it. * Your role is not narrowly defined like in a typical corporate company, neither are you pressured with ridiculous deadlines that some startups seem to wear as a badge of honour. * If you dont follow in the footsteps of the CTO, the work-life balance is good.
Cons
* It is a good place to work for a couple of years, but after that, the growth is just not there. * Some of the good work done was never really pushed forward. * The company is also stuck in one place neither going forward nor backward. * The IIT network they have ensures that they always have a steady stream of projects, but it never really goes beyond that. * The IIT (read upper caste) network means that there is a steady stream of their relatives/students employed and who all seem to use the company for a couple of years before they move on. * The students either work here while they apply for courses in America or seem to come under some kind of pressure to work here in exchange to get their Masters/PhDs completed.
