Pros
The benefits at Gulfstream were really great. Health insurance / HSA, 401K matching, discounts and bonuses for just being healthy, etc. are what you'd expect from a stable, and well off aerospace company.
Cons
Gulfstream as an organization is slow, stuffy, and cumbersome. Everything requires multiple levels of approval and everything takes forever. It's been described as a "paperwork company that occasionally produces aircraft". Want to use a new piece of software not in the system? Expect a three month review process to get it approved. It makes it hard to be proactive.
