Pros
Working from home, dogs allowed in office, generally really cool, nice, and intelligent coworkers who have good souls and an altruistic attitude.
Cons
This company will work you to the bone - beware. If you think your job entails what they tell you up front, be prepared to take on at least 3 times that much, and then some. Training is incredibly brief with no real regiment, and then you are thrown into the fire pit with a sink or swim mentality. They don’t track vacation, so they also can’t track overtime you work trying to keep up with ridiculous demand/side projects/so many things that should be outside of your scope. And here’s where it really gets juicy - I was there for just shy of two years, given two raises during that time, never had disciplinary action taken against me and was commended for my excellent and thorough work routinely. I was let go abruptly after an incredibly informal lunch meeting with my manager, letting me know that my ADD personality didn’t seem to be a good fit, and provided a haphazardly composed list of personality-related action items for me to fix. Was told I had the weekend to come up with ideas/a game plan on my own accord, but if I came up with nothing that would be fine, and we would work through it together. They let me work the entire day the following Monday, before informing me my employment would be separated because I didn’t come up with a thorough enough action plan. Incredibly back handed, beyond shady - I considered this company my family and felt totally betrayed. Life lesson learned.
