Pros

Open plan office is friendly Teams are generally young and almost all VP's and PM's are friendly and approachable. Pay is very good considering the average workday is 830-530 The company seems to be expanding at a good pace. It's fairly meritocratic

Cons

The work is unfortunately unchallenging and sometimes very repetitive. Be prepared to spend most of your time trawling through Linkedin or cold calling. Your job is essentially glorified recruitment. To be honest this is not exclusive to Guidepoint but the nature of the expert network industry generally. The same practices exist at AlphaSights/ GLG/ ThirdBridge. Lots of new hires mean there is real competition for promotion. Just be careful how long you stay here. Ensure your frame your time here well.

Pros

the only pros are the salary and two hybrid days

Cons

Do not take a job with Guidepoint, even if you were a strong student in college and consider yourself a hard worker. The project managers are fine, but the team leads are awful. You won’t learn any tangible skills; the work largely consists of reaching out to people on LinkedIn for hours on end. On top of that, they will let people go very easily. Stay away from this company.
