Pros

Free snacks; Relaxed dress code; Free beer on Fridays; First stop for recent grads until anything better comes around.

Cons

Low paying; No career trajectory; Repetitive and dumb work; They don't listen to ideas/advices/needs/feedbacks; Old computers; Micromanaging; Management doesn't care about employees, even if you do really well in your job and try your best at everything, you don't get recognized for it!

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate learning about your particular experience and are invested in ensuring a positive work experience at Guidepoint. We recognize that certain elements of the entry level Research Analyst/Client Service Associate position can be repetitive, and often find that repetition early in the role is a great way to learn and refine skills needed for success. Guidepoint values mentoring at all management levels. Many members of our staff value the support from their managers as a strong motivator for success. For example, one of our current Research Analysts says, “[My manager] wants everyone to do well, and he wants everyone to succeed, and he prioritizes that above his own recognition or success, and to have that support, as well as to see that professional discipline, makes me want to work really hard every day.” Even though we’re committed to our people, turnover is a natural event that all companies experience. We are happy to confirm that turnover rates have decreased and overall tenure has increased as we continue to promote internally and create new opportunities for our employees. Thank you again for your input. Please email us at feedback@guidepoint.com should you wish to continue the conversation about your experience.

Pros

the only pros are the salary and two hybrid days

Cons

Do not take a job with Guidepoint, even if you were a strong student in college and consider yourself a hard worker. The project managers are fine, but the team leads are awful. You won’t learn any tangible skills; the work largely consists of reaching out to people on LinkedIn for hours on end. On top of that, they will let people go very easily. Stay away from this company.
