Pros
- Free food - Salary and benefits can be decent
Cons
Pretty much everything else: - Company stuck in the past. They have no understanding of what they are doing and rely on a few key positions to get most of the work done. - Most employees there are either incompetent, very lazy or already looking for another job. I would say that 80% of the staff does not add any business value. - You will spend most of your time in useless meetings. By that I mean 25 people in the same room watching a PO learning JIRA live for 2 hours straight. - It's the first company I know with a web platform and no designer (or any understanding of what web design means)... seriously LOL. Even startups with 10 employes have a designer and this 200+ employee corporation says it doesnt need even 1. - No positive change in sight. Politics will keep the incompetent in charge, and the competent staff will just churn.
