It's really quite tragic how bad the company culture is behind such a great brand and product. The micromanagement starts from the very top, and comes the whole way down, breeding a culture of back-side saving, a lack of accountability and distrust.
Avoid working here if you can for the sake of your mental health. If you're approached about a role here, make sure you ask about staff turnover rate, it's phenomenal, with good people lost time and time again.
Of course you can stay and try and brave it out, but if you have regular exposure to the exec team you forever feel in fear of losing your job. It's very much a mentality of you either fit in and play our toxic game, or you're out. Sadly more true for a female than a male who'll find it harder to be part of the "boys club". The exec team are archaic in mentality and need a complete overhaul, before all company value is lost. Of course private equity-owned businesses will always be pushed to deliver results, quickly, but there's no empowerment given to the teams to deliver on their plans. Strategy is forever being rewritten, the same ideas churned out again, with teams being asked to jump and deliver regardless on crushed timelines.
Don't be fooled by reviews that are provided by people attached to the HR team, and are therefore incentivised to improve ratings on here.
If you're good, money will be thrown at you to stay. Or a flashy title that you might not get in another company, but you really need to think about your own self worth and sanity before accepting. Such a shame for a great brand with great products, created by a great team.
