Business is booming but this just means high stress and burnout for engineers. There is no feeling of job security here because it's VERY clique based, you are either in their inner circle or you are a punching bag. This promotes a really bad culture where poor performers are protected, and also attracted to this protection since they cannot perform/interview well and much prefer to just remain in the clique.
Very marching orders oriented in terms of deadlines, but NEVER give any details on what they actually want. Was given a project with NO direction, and was told I was doing it all wrong months later. And this guy, my manager, is easily protected by the clique crew so his idiocy just keeps truckin while they keep turning over more engineers.
