Pros

I’m coming up on my one-year anniversary with GBS and I can honestly say this company is a great place to work! As I’ve settled into the role and gotten to know our team, I’ve found a positive work environment, where the goal of helping others is shared by the employees as well as management. From the benefits GBS provides to how they work with you when personal issues arise, the company treats their employees well.

Cons

I'd say commuting to work isn't my ideal situation, even though I do really like our office.

Pros

I never thought that working in the insurance industry could be such a wonderful experience, but truly this job has treated me so well. The company culture is wonderful and everyone seems to genuinely want to be at GBS. There are opportunities for personal and professional development. The management team is quick to address any issues, and any corrective action is approached directly, but kindly. I'm made to feel like the role I play is important to our overall business.

Cons

Everything happens in waves and data entry items can go from being complete to backed up in just a matter of hours.

Pros

I’ve been with Group Benefit Services since 2020, and it’s been a great experience. The benefits package is excellent—health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement—and the generous paid time off is a nice bonus. The flexible schedule (remote, hybrid, or in-office) is a huge perk, helping balance work and personal life. The team is fantastic—everyone collaborates to meet deadlines and achieve goals, creating a positive, goal-driven environment.

Cons

The work can be very technical, requiring a sharp eye for detail. The job also demands thinking through complex problems and finding solutions quickly. It’s a lot of responsibility, but rewarding for those who enjoy problem-solving. Additionally, the fast-paced environment, especially during the fourth quarter, can be intense. It’s great for those who thrive under pressure, but it can be hectic for others.
