Lay Off of half the tech team early 2025 - Software developper Groover(France) Employee Review

As a graduate student studying music, Groover has been the perfect place to work as I pursue my degree. The job combines music with sales, allowing me to gain real-world experience within the music industry. The hours are flexible (100% remote), and there is such an enjoyable work environment with a great manager who takes time to ensure our success. 10/10 would recommend!

Not much time to get good at selling their product before they hold you to high expectations with onboarding new users. Wish I was given more space to learn how to sell but only work 8 hours a week. I would be more effective if it was more full time. You're expected to take meetings throughout the week as well and this makes it difficult to manage time since you're doing just 30-90 minutes of work here and there. It's easier for me to do a better job when focusing for a longer period of time.
