It is a developer-first company, so all the systems in place are to enable the developers to strive for the best, including most up to date tools and development environments. With flat hierarchy everybody's opinion matters, and all colleagues are consulted on new tech or tools.

Expectations from a colleague in Gritworld is quite high. Due to flat hierarchy, the isolation is not an option, and majority of the colleagues interact with others very often. Gritworld expects everyone to stay on top of the competition and keep themselves up to date on new technologies and tools.
