Pros

They offer a generous vacation policy and the employees healthcare is free. They offer incentives and have great marketing.

Cons

If you're salary, expect to work 60+ hrs a week because your work day is filled with back to back meetings. They have meetings about meetings. Too many properties assigned to each Regional makes it impossible to give quality service and reach the goals given by Directors and above.

One of the best parts of working at Greystar as a manager is the opportunity for career growth and professional development within a large, well-established company.

Cons

One challenge as a manager is that the workload can change quickly, which can sometimes make it difficult to stay ahead of priorities.

Pros

Greystar Seattle offers solid training, competitive commission opportunities, and clear pathways for career advancement. The company manages a diverse portfolio, allowing employees to gain experience across different asset types and markets. Employees who find themselves on a strong team with supportive leadership can build valuable skills and grow quickly.

Cons

Employee experience can vary significantly depending on the property and management team. In some cases, policies and performance expectations may be applied inconsistently, which can create perceptions of favoritism or unequal treatment. Greater consistency in leadership practices and accountability across communities would improve the employee experience.
