Pros
I've worked for the CU for over 5 years now and began my career as a Financial Services Representative (teller). After two promotions, I am in a role that utilizes my strengths and allows me to give my best to the company each day. The shear opportunities that are available to those who work hard, take on additional tasks or leadership responsibilities, and simply go above and beyond are fantastic. As an employee, you are constantly challenged to find new efficient ways of doing your job. No two days are the same and there are always opportunities to get involved in company wide initiatives or committees. The culture here is fantastic and is a big reason why I love working at the CU. We have fun at work by sponsoring lunches once a month, celebrating national days, and simply enjoying each others company at various outside events. I can honestly say I laugh every single day!
Cons
The lien staffing model the CU operates on takes some getting used to. Each employee is expected to perform not just one job, but many and often at the same time. They truly are looking for individuals that have many talents and that can wear many hats at once, but that is why we are so successful.
