Pros
The excutive team is accessible. (The CEO sat in a cube, just like the rest of us) They hire only the best & brightest. Recognition seeps through the walls at GALC. (I'll never forget the exitement of $100 bills being handed to each employee by the CEO upon reaching a seemingly impossible goal) FUN! FUN! FUN! The opportunity to cross-train within a team is promoted by executive management. Upward mobility is attainable. Team managers are hand-picked, not only by the executive team, but by would-be team members. What's more, if all the worker bees were hit by the proverbial bus, every single manager, director, executive - even the CEO - actually know how to execute every aspect of the business without flaw.
Cons
Upward mobility can sometimes be driven via what seems to be a popularity contest. The company has done so well, and expanded so rapidly that faces can be lost.
