Pros
Grazing is a fun, entrepreneurial company with a tight knit team. There are lots of opportunities to learn, develop and try new things, and I felt like the owner (Sam) trusted and valued me as an employee. It's a creative and fast-paced environment that suits people who are happy to get stuck in. New ideas about how to do things or improve are always welcome and appreciated - this is not a company that looks backwards. Also, sustainability is a HUGE focus for Grazing, which was a big plus for me.
Cons
For people who thrive in a top-down highly structured, corporate working environment, this may not be the company for you. As it's a small team, especially on the management side, you need to be self-motivated and accountable to deliver on your responsibilities. For those in the operations side of the business, you need to be prepared to work outside of 9-5 hours, but if you're in the hospitality industry you already know this!
