Pros

I am new to Gravitate and I have really enjoyed my time with this company. I have the opportunity to work with a great group of people who have quite a bit of knowledge and experience and readily give advice when needed. Great team atmosphere, and I feel like I am making a direct impact on the projects I work on.

Cons

None to report so far.

Pros

The owners have strong and ethical values a lot of hard working and kind and awesome employees The Missouri office has a great culture and tight bond. A great community. technical abilities are strong although many of the most accomplished people have left in the past 3 years. Strong reputation in industry Pay is competitive and there is (or at least was) profit sharing Willing to Invest in or at least consider technologies that increase productivity. Able to solve technical challenges that competition isn’t able to do Solid employee retention, particularly in the Missouri office. Cool analytics product that is well tailored for association industry where analytical capabilities are pretty poor Great training for new employees in Missouri office Lots of opportunity for junior project managers

Cons

Lack of management experience at much of management level (some exceptions) Disconnect culturally and to an extent professionally between technical and non technical staff one of the two co-owners doesn’t have the respect of employees and meddles in affairs uninvited and in a counter productive manner. Product is taking a long time to gain traction, has super long sales cycles, and has little applicability to scale outside of association industry. Best case is company is acquired by one of the larger tech companies in the association space looking to expand its portfolio of capabilities. Many of the employees who work in services offerings feel that they are not part of the future of the company. Not a particularly diverse staff, particularly in Missouri office, despite attempts to achieve greater diversity
