Pros
You will learn a lot and gain a ton of experience, mostly because there is minimal oversight and direction from upper management. The team is a close-knit group, which makes the office culture worthwhile.
Cons
The leaders of the company are oblivious to what occurs at their properties and what goes into running them on a daily basis. They are focused on profits but do not seem to fully comprehend how profits are affected by their actions (lack of capital investments and lazy leasing efforts). They believe themselves to be a big player in the real estate community when in reality are a mom-and-pop company. The person overseeing the management is very green and borderline useless. Your salary will be below market, but they will act like they are doing you a favor by employing you.
