Pros
Great people with the exception of senior leaders. Flexible hours (corporate engineering department) and decent recognition of work-life balance.
Cons
Senior mgmt has a "do as I say, not as I do" attitude. As a result, the decisions and actions are completely at odds with the guiding principles and mission statement that is forced on employees. Little if any career planning and thus little if any opportunity for advancement. Rank leadership seems more inclined to bring in outside talent (or lack there of) with no industry experience than to promote from within and retain technical knowledge. The promotions that do occur are politically driven as opposed to merit-driven.
