Pros
High pay for market value
Cons
Reliant Rehab specifically graduate post acute n Philadelphia is a terrible rehab. Here are the reasons I state the above. •Fumes and construction with no PPE available, exposure to asbestos, dust, lead, with high risk respiratory patients. •DIRECTOR of rehabs and regional directors have said over and over “this is a business not a healthcare facility.” I have worked with individuals who were NOT SAFE to work with and needed to HOLD therapy until more stable, but they forced me to put my license on the line and risk a patients death to collect reimbursement for the company. If I didn’t do it, the punishment was cut hours from full time to part time, to the point t of risking lose of my benefits, embarrassing me in front of staff and patients, isolating me from my peers, and threatening to fire me. •Encouraging me to commit fraud and see 6+ patients at one time and bill each one individually which is illegal under medical billing •Embarrassing me and punishing me for taking a lunch break of 30 minutes •Forcing me to see patients who were unstable, over 300 pounds and unable to sit up by myself, get them out of bed unsafely without a physical therapist or assistance to get maximum reimbursement back because “co txs don’t make enough money.” •
