Pros
The recruitment process was second-to-none, and I mean that! The hiring process was fantastic, all involved were brilliant and approachable and kept to the timelines given and they were honest when answering any questions I threw at them. Having worked previously in a different sector entirely, I was fairly apprehensive when I got the job at Good Energy. All very new, a lot to take in and wasn't sure how I'd get along. You are valued as a member of staff and it's genuinely been a huge breath of fresh air working for Good Energy, compared to my previous role which really knocked me down to my lowest.
Cons
There really isn't anything to moan about, maybe one query I had after I'd started which related to a query surrounding the internal healthcare package which took some time to get a response on. Other than this, everything else was first class! I wouldn't say that this took anything away from my experience whatsoever. The wage and pay structure is not only fair, but incredibly competitive with a fantastic and transparent progression ladder. You are told of what it is as soon as you walk through the door and you are encouraged to progress internally. This is not only fair, but something I've never experienced before and entirely realistic.
